This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
CD13 (ANPEP) is a 150–170 kDa type II transmembrane zinc-binding ectopeptidase expressed on various cell types. It catalyzes removal of neutral amino acids from small peptides, activating or inactivating bioactive peptides. CD13 is involved in extracellular matrix degradation, antigen processing, and signal transduction, and plays roles in inflammatory responses, intercellular contact regulation, cell motility, and vascularization.
CD13 is expressed by granulocytes, monocytes, and myeloid leukemia cells, and is associated with protection of leukemic cells against apoptosis and poor prognosis of carcinomas. It functions as an aminopeptidase enzyme and also serves as an alpha receptor for coronavirus.
