Product Specific Information

• Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG1 κ immunoglobulin useful as an isotype control.
• Applications Reported: Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended use at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
• Light Sensitivity: Tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation; protect from light.
• Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C using IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-57).
• Excitation/Emission: 488–561 nm / 775 nm; Laser: Blue, Green, Yellow-Green.
• Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immunity. Functions include opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Widely used in research (ELISA, Western blotting, IHC) and therapeutic applications such as immunotherapy and vaccine development.
