This antibody is predicted to react with mouse, rat, canine, bovine, and chicken based on sequence homology.
Target Information
PACSIN2 is a 486 amino acid phosphoprotein and a member of the PACSIN family of cytoplasmic adapter proteins. It contains:
- CDC15 N-terminal domain
- C-terminal SH3 domain
- Three conserved PACSIN-specific regions
- Three NPF (asn-pro-phe) motifs that may bind EH domains
PACSIN2 is ubiquitously expressed, with the highest levels found in the brain. It is involved in:
- Organization of the actin cytoskeleton
- Regulation of vesicular traffic
- Endocytic internalization and receptor recycling
