Product Specific Information
This peptide sequence is 100% conserved across multiple p73 isoforms and between rat, mouse, dog, and bovine p73.
Suggested positive control: antigen standard for TP73 (transient overexpression lysate), p73 transfected cells.
Target Information
P73 (TP73) participates in the apoptotic response to DNA damage. Isoforms containing the transactivation domain are pro-apoptotic, while isoforms lacking the domain are anti-apoptotic and block the function of p53 and transactivating p73 isoforms.
May be a tumor suppressor protein.
