MM121B targets IL-12 in ELISA and WB applications and shows reactivity with mouse samples.
The MM121B immunogen is recombinant mouse IL-12.
MM121B detects IL-12 with a predicted molecular weight of approximately 22 kDa.
The MM121B mouse IL-12 antibody (biotinylated conjugate of clone C17-8) has been paired as a detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA with capture antibody MM120 (clone 9A5).
Typical dilutions for sandwich ELISA:
- Coating: 1 µg/mL
- Detection: 0.125–0.25 µg/mL
Biotinylated antibody MM121B (clone C17-8) and antibody MM120 (clone 9A5) have been used in combination with recombinant mouse IL-12p70 protein (SMIL12) in ELISA applications.
This antibody is produced by injecting Rat IgG-secreting hybridoma cells into the peritoneum of mice. The resulting ascites is collected and purified.

IL-12 p70 (Interleukin-12) is a cytokine essential for immune response regulation.
Produced by dendritic cells, macrophages, and B cells in response to pathogens and tumors, IL-12 p70 stimulates interferon-gamma production and activates T cells and NK cells.
It is studied as a therapeutic target for infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and cancer due to its role in enhancing immune responses and modulating inflammation.
