Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve ~1 mg/mL final concentration.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Transforming acidic coiled-coil (TACC) proteins are a conserved family of centrosome- and microtubule-interacting proteins implicated in cancer.
TACC2 concentrates at centrosomes throughout the cell cycle and lies within a chromosomal region associated with tumorigenesis.
Expression is induced by erythropoietin and may affect breast tumor progression.
Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
