Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Adrenomedullin (ADM) is a vasodilator produced by contractile cells and exhibits persistent hypotensive activity. It regulates fluid and electrolyte balance and supports cardiovascular function. ADM levels are elevated in hypertensive patients and play a role in natriuresis, commonly observed in aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage. ADM-induced natriuresis results from increased glomerular filtration and reduced distal tubular sodium reabsorption. ADM is found both peripherally and in the brain, where it can reduce food intake.
