Target Information
EBI3 (Epstein-Barr virus Induced-3)는 hematopoietin receptor family에 속하는 분비형 당단백질로, Th2형 면역반응 유도 및 Th2 매개 조직 염증 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. EBI3는 p28 및 p35 소단위와 이합체를 형성하여 각각 IL-27 및 IL-35를 생성합니다. IL-27은 항원제시세포가 활성화될 때 초기 생성되며, Th17 세포 분화를 억제합니다.
EBI3는 널리 발현되며, 수지상세포 내 발현은 TLR-MyD88-NFκB 신호경로에 의해 조절됩니다. 또한, EBI3 신호는 IL-17 억제 및 IL-10 과발현을 유도하여 지연형 과민반응을 억제합니다.
EBI3 결핍은 Th2 사이토카인 생산 감소 및 천식 관련 기도 염증 조절 이상과 연관되어 있으며, 폐 전이 조절에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
