For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Albumin is a soluble, monomeric protein (~65–67 kDa) that constitutes about half of blood serum protein.
Human serum albumin (HSA) is the most abundant plasma protein with a serum half-life of ~20 days.
It functions as a carrier for steroids, fatty acids, and thyroid hormones and helps maintain extracellular fluid balance.
Synthesized in the liver as pre-pro-albumin, albumin binds water, Ca²⁺, Na⁺, K⁺, fatty acids, hormones, bilirubin, and drugs.
Its main role is regulating the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood.
