Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed):
Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
For formalin-fixed tissues, heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
ITLN1 enhances insulin-stimulated glucose uptake in adipocytes and increases AKT phosphorylation with or without insulin. It may play a role in host defense against microorganisms by recognizing carbohydrate chains of pathogens and bacterial components containing galactofuranosyl residues in a calcium-dependent manner. ITLN1 may also be involved in iron metabolism.
