Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
ATP1B2 is the non-catalytic component of the Na⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme complex, which catalyzes ATP hydrolysis coupled with ion exchange across the plasma membrane. The beta-2 subunit’s exact function is not fully known but is involved in mediating cell adhesion of neurons and astrocytes and promoting neurite outgrowth.
