Rat anti-Mouse CD169 antibody, clone 3D6.112 recognizes mouse CD169, also known as sialoadhesin, sheep erythrocyte receptor, or Siglec-1.
Target Information
The siglecs are a family of membrane-bound lectins (of the immunoglobulin superfamily) that bind sialic acid and mediate cell-cell interactions. Family members include sialoadhesin, CD22, and CD33.
Sialoadhesin is a macrophage-specific cell adhesion molecule expressed on activated macrophages in chronic inflammation and tumors.
