Product Specific Information
In direct ELISAs, approximately 40% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) ALCAM is observed, and less than 10% cross-reactivity with rhBCAM, recombinant mouse (rm) OCAM, and rmMAdCAM-1 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
This gene encodes activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule (ALCAM), also known as CD166, a member of the immunoglobulin receptor subfamily with five immunoglobulin-like domains (VVC2C2C2) in the extracellular region.
It binds to T-cell differentiation antigen CD6 and is involved in cell adhesion and migration processes.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
