Xenopus Shisa는 Wnt 및 FGF 신호를 억제하여 머리 발달을 촉진합니다.
Shisa는 미성숙 형태의 Wnt 수용체 Frizzled 및 FGF 수용체와 소포체 내에서 상호작용하며, 이들의 번역 후 성숙 및 세포 표면 수송을 억제합니다.
Shisa 기능이 결여되면 신경외배엽이 Wnt 신호에 민감해지고, 배아 발생 중 머리 형성이 억제됩니다.
