PAK7 (KIAA1264)는 세포골격 역학, 증식, 세포 생존 신호 조절에 관여하는 단백질로, CDC42/Rac1 결합 모티프를 포함하며 GTP 존재 시 CDC42와 결합합니다. 주로 뇌에서 발현되며 신경돌기 성장 촉진 및 미세소관 안정화에 기여합니다. 세포 주기 진행 중 세포 내 위치가 조절되며, 동일 단백질을 암호화하는 여러 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
