Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The ATF1 gene encodes an activating transcription factor belonging to the ATF subfamily and bZIP family. It regulates downstream genes involved in cell growth, survival, and other physiological processes.
Phosphorylation at serine 63 by kinases such as PKA, CaMK I/II, MSK, and CDK3 enhances its transcriptional activity and contributes to cell transformation.
Chromosomal translocations involving this gene and FUS (chromosome 16) or EWSR1 (chromosome 22) produce chimeric proteins associated with angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma and clear cell sarcoma.
A pseudogene of ATF1 exists on chromosome 6.
