CCR4-NOT Transcription Complex 2 (CNOT2)는 주요 세포 내 mRNA deadenylase 복합체인 CCR4-NOT 복합체의 구성 요소로, mRNA 분해, miRNA 매개 억제, 번역 개시 단계의 억제 및 전사 조절에 관여합니다. 또한 CNOT2는 복합체의 구조적 안정성 유지에 필수적이며, 전사 억제 기능을 수행할 수 있습니다. 이 기능은 HDAC3, NCOR1, NCOR2를 포함하는 N-Cor 억제 복합체와의 상호작용을 통해 매개될 수 있습니다. 또한 CNOT2는 배아줄기세포(ES 세포)의 정체성 유지에도 관여합니다.
