Product Specific Information
The 3D12 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CCR7 (CD197), also known as EBI-1. CCR7 is a G-protein-coupled chemokine receptor with seven transmembrane domains, functioning as a receptor for 6Ckine/SLC (CCL19, CCL21). It is expressed on T cells and dendritic cells (DCs), playing roles in migration, chemotaxis, and maturation.

- Recommended Incubation: ≥45 minutes at 2–8°C

Target Information
CCR7 is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family and is induced by Epstein Barr virus (EBV). It is expressed in blood, bone marrow, lymph node, and intestine, particularly in lymphoid tissues and activated B/T lymphocytes. CCR7 controls migration of memory T cells to inflamed tissues and stimulates dendritic cell maturation. Its ligands include CCL19 and CCL21.
Receptors in the C-C chemokine family include CCR1–CCR5 and the Duffy antigen, all critical for T cell chemotaxis and phagocyte migration.
