Product Specific Information

The MU5UBEE monoclonal antibody reacts with human and non-human primate CD185 (CXCR5/BLR1), a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor originally identified in Burkitt’s lymphoma.
In peripheral blood, CD185 is expressed on B cells, CD4+ T cells (excluding Th1/Th2), and certain memory T cells.
CD185+ T cells migrate to lymph nodes due to CCR7 and CD62L expression and support B cell antibody production in tonsils.
CXCR5 plays a crucial role in lymphocyte trafficking, particularly T cell migration into B cell follicles in response to CXCL13, marking follicular helper T cells.

Excitation: 405 nm; Emission: 600 nm; Laser: Violet

Super Bright 600 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 600 nm. Use a 610/20 bandpass filter.
When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific interactions.

CXCR5 is a G protein-coupled receptor for chemokine BLC, expressed in Burkitt’s lymphoma and lymphoid tissues such as lymph node follicles and spleen.
It plays an essential role in B cell migration and is expressed in human blood, salivary gland, and various animal tissues (lymph node, spleen, liver, brain, etc.).
CXCR5 belongs to the GPCR family, which shares a seven-helix transmembrane structure and is a major pharmacological target in signaling research.
