Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates.

Target Information

Ribosomes catalyze protein synthesis and consist of a small 40S and a large 60S subunit composed of 4 RNA species and ~80 distinct proteins.
The RPS6 gene encodes a cytoplasmic ribosomal protein of the 40S subunit, belonging to the S6E family. It is a major substrate for multiple protein kinases, with phosphorylation regulated by growth factors, mitogens, and tumor-promoting agents. This process is linked to control of cell growth and proliferation via selective mRNA translation. Multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene exist throughout the genome.
