Target Information
JunB is a member of the Jun cellular oncogene family and functions as a basic region, leucine zipper transcription factor. It regulates gene activity following the primary growth factor response and binds to the DNA sequence 5'-TGA[CG]TCA-3'. Cellular oncogenes such as JunB play critical roles in communication pathways controlling cell growth, development, and differentiation.
