Product Specific Information
Description:
The N418 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD11c (integrin alphaX), which associates with beta2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer. CD11c is expressed by dendritic cells, a subset of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and some activated T cells. It binds to CD54, iC3b, and fibrinogen, playing a role in leukocyte adhesion. N418 binds CD11c on splenic dendritic cells in the T-dependent areas of mouse spleen and precipitates a 150/90 kDa heterodimer.

Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤0.25 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration is advised for specific assay conditions.
Excitation: 633–647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
CD11, together with CD18, forms a heterodimer adhesion molecule.
- CD11a: Expressed in B/T lymphocytes, macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils.
- CD11b: Expressed by monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some B/T cells, granulocytes.
- CD11c: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some granulocytes, and a subset of lymphocytes.
