본 항체는 돼지, 생쥐, 랫, 햄스터, 소, 개, 양과 교차 반응하지 않습니다.
Target Information
Cytokeratin 18 (Keratin 18, KRT18, type I cytoskeletal 18)은 저분자량 케라틴 중 산성형(Type A)에 속하며, Cytokeratin 8과 함께 존재합니다.
소화기, 호흡기, 비뇨생식기, 내분비 및 외분비 조직, 중피세포에서 발현되며, 대부분의 선암 및 관암에서 양성 반응을 보입니다.
반면, 편평세포암에서는 발현되지 않습니다.
간세포암에서는 Cytokeratin 8 및 18만을 발현합니다.
Cytokeratin 18 유전자 변이는 특발성 간경변과 연관되어 있으며, 두 가지 전사 변형체가 동일한 단백질을 암호화합니다.
Cytokeratin 아형 발현 패턴은 다양한 상피성 악성종양의 구분에 활용되며, 조직절편 면역조직화학뿐 아니라 세포병리학 및 유세포분석에도 유용한 도구입니다.
