Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

TLK2 (Tousled-like kinase 2) is a nuclear serine/threonine kinase involved in chromatin assembly regulation and other cellular processes such as intracellular signaling, protein phosphorylation, cell cycle control, and DNA damage response.
TLK2 exhibits maximal activity during S phase and is regulated by cell-cycle-dependent phosphorylation. DNA replication inhibition leads to rapid TLK2 activity loss, indicating a strong link between TLK2 function and DNA replication.
TLK2 is inactivated by phosphorylation at Ser-750, potentially by CHK1, and forms heterodimers with TLK1. It is widely expressed in fetal and adult tissues including placenta, liver, kidney, pancreas, heart, and skeletal muscle.
