This antibody detects endogenous levels of PPP1CA only when phosphorylated at Thr320.
Target Information
This gene encodes a reticuloplasmin, a protein residing in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum. It shows sequence similarity to the protein disulfide isomerase family but lacks the thioredoxin motif, suggesting it does not function as a disulfide isomerase. The protein dimerizes and is believed to assist in the processing of secretory proteins within the ER. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
