Product Specific Information

The II/41 monoclonal antibody reacts with the µ heavy chain of mouse IgM and does not cross-react with other immunoglobulin classes (IgD, IgG, IgA). IgM is expressed intracellularly during early B-cell development and on mature B cells in bone marrow and peripheral tissues.

Fluorochrome Information:
Super Bright 600 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 600 nm. Use a 610/20 bandpass filter. Protect from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.

Staining Recommendations:
When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Fixation Compatibility:
Samples can be stored up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C using IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333).

Mouse IgM is an immunoglobulin M antibody produced by B cells during early immune response. It is the largest serum immunoglobulin, composed of five heavy and five light chains, and plays a key role in complement activation and antigen agglutination. Widely used in ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry for research and diagnostic applications.
