Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene encodes the coagulation factor XIII A subunit. Coagulation factor XIII is the last zymogen activated in the blood coagulation cascade. Plasma factor XIII consists of 2 A subunits (catalytic) and 2 B subunits (carrier). Platelet factor XIII has only 2 A subunits identical to plasma origin. Upon activation by thrombin and calcium, factor XIII produces active enzyme factor XIIIa, which stabilizes fibrin clots by catalyzing crosslinking between fibrin molecules.
Deficiency of factor XIII may cause bleeding tendency, defective wound healing, and habitual abortion.
