Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ITFG2 is a component of the KICSTOR complex, functioning in the amino acid-sensing branch of the TORC1 signaling pathway.
It recruits the GATOR1 complex to lysosomal membranes, enabling interaction with GATOR2 and RAG GTPases.
This process negatively regulates mTORC1 signaling in the absence of amino acids.
Without the KICSTOR complex, mTORC1 remains constitutively active on the lysosome.
The complex may also play a role in glucose-mediated mTORC1 regulation.
