Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
BUBR1 (BUB1B) is a Ser/Thr protein kinase involved in the mitotic checkpoint, delaying anaphase until chromosomes are properly attached to the mitotic spindle. Defects in this checkpoint contribute to genetic instability and cancer progression.
Human cells express two related checkpoint kinases, hBUBR1 and hBUB1, which regulate kinetochore-microtubule interactions during mitosis.
BUBR1 is essential for normal mitotic progression, preventing premature anaphase entry, and has been identified as a binding partner of BCSG1, implicated in breast cancer progression through checkpoint inactivation.
