Target Information

GBA 유전자는 리소좀 막 단백질을 암호화하며, 당지질 대사 중간체인 글루코실세라마이드를 절단하는 β-글루코시다아제 활성에 관여합니다.
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 글루코세레브로사이드 축적을 특징으로 하는 고셔병(Gaucher disease)을 유발합니다.
또한, 염색체 1번 상 약 12 kb 하류에 관련된 유사 유전자가 존재하며, 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사 변이가 생성됩니다.
