Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
LIPG (Lipase G, Endothelial type) is an endothelial lipase belonging to the lipoprotein lipase gene family. It is synthesized by endothelial cells and functions locally to modulate lipoprotein metabolism.
Overexpression of LIPG reduces HDL cholesterol levels, while deficiency increases them. LIPG exhibits phospholipase activity and may play roles in vascular biology and lipid metabolism. It is a carboxyl esterase that hydrolyzes high-density lipoproteins, emulsifies triglycerides, and contributes to dietary fat digestion. LIPG is classified within the TG lipase family based on its sequence and lid region, which confers substrate specificity.
