Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 패밀리에 속하는 막관통형 당단백질로, 신경계 전반에 걸쳐 120–180 kDa의 다양한 아이소폼 형태로 발현됩니다.
CD56은 T 세포와 NK 세포에 존재하며, 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 경로 탐색 및 시냅스 가소성에 관여합니다.
Polysialic modification은 CD56 매개 세포 접착을 감소시킵니다.
CD56은 laminin 및 integrin과 같은 세포외기질 성분과의 결합을 통해 동종 및 이종 상호작용을 매개합니다.
또한 CD56은 retinoblastoma, medulloblastoma, astrocytoma, neuroblastoma 등 신경외배엽 유래 세포 및 종양에서 발현되며, 신경내분비 종양 및 난소 granulosa 세포 종양의 민감한 표지자로 널리 사용됩니다.
CD56 기능 이상은 광견병 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms와 관련이 있습니다.
