Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as confirmed by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
EEF1D encodes a subunit of the elongation factor-1 complex, which delivers aminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome during protein synthesis. This subunit functions as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor and has been reported to interact with HIV-1 Tat, repressing host-cell translation while not affecting HIV-1 mRNA translation. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants and isoforms have been identified.
