Target Information
KLF5 is a member of the Kruppel-like factor subfamily of zinc finger proteins. It contains three C2H2-type zinc fingers at the carboxyl-terminus that preferentially bind to cis-DNA elements that are GC rich. KLF5 functions as a transcription activator that promotes cell proliferation and oncogenesis.
