Product Specific Information
- Tested in direct ELISA: use antibody at 2–4 µg/mL for coating.
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, at 95°C for 45 minutes, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CD79b is the B cell antigen receptor Ig beta chain (BCR-Ig beta), which forms a functional heterodimer with the Ig alpha chain (CD79a) to interact with membrane immunoglobulin (mIg). The mIgM component binds antigen, while the Ig alpha/Ig beta heterodimer transduces activation signals within B cells.
