Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed) samples:
Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CD79b is the B cell antigen receptor Ig beta chain (BCR-Ig beta), which associates with the Ig alpha chain to form a functional heterodimer that interacts with membrane immunoglobulin (mIg). The mIgM component binds antigen, and the Ig alpha/Ig beta heterodimer transduces signals essential for B cell activation.
