Target Information
AMPK(alpha-2)는 AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)의 촉매 서브유닛을 암호화하는 유전자로, 세포 내 에너지 상태를 감지하는 효소입니다. AMPK는 α 촉매 서브유닛과 β, γ 비촉매 서브유닛으로 구성된 이종삼합체이며, 세포 대사 스트레스에 반응하여 활성화되어 지방산 및 콜레스테롤 생합성에 관여하는 ACC와 HMGCR을 인산화 및 불활성화합니다. 또한, 쥐 모델 연구에 따르면 이 촉매 서브유닛은 인슐린 감수성 조절 및 허혈 시 심근 에너지 항상성 유지에 필수적입니다.
