Target Information
The P2RY2 gene encodes a G-protein coupled receptor responsive to both adenosine and uridine nucleotides. It belongs to a receptor family with several subtypes showing overlapping pharmacological selectivity. This receptor may be involved in the regulation of the cell cycle in endometrial carcinoma cells. Three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
