For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

The FGG gene encodes the gamma component of fibrinogen, a blood-borne glycoprotein composed of three pairs of nonidentical polypeptide chains.
Upon vascular injury, fibrinogen is cleaved by thrombin to form fibrin, the major component of blood clots.
Cleavage products of fibrinogen and fibrin regulate cell adhesion, spreading, vasoconstriction, chemotaxis, and act as mitogens for various cell types.
Mutations in this gene can cause dysfibrinogenemia, hypofibrinogenemia, and thrombophilia.
Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
