Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
SSU72 is a highly conserved homologue of yeast Ssu72, a CTD phosphatase and a component of the polyadenylation/termination machinery.
The human Ssu72 is located on chromosome 1p36 and represents a single gene. It was identified as a pRb binding factor and shown to interact with TFIIB and yeast PTA1.
This antibody recognizes a single band of approximately 30 kDa on immunoblots of various human cell lines but does not work well on mouse tissues.
