This antibody detects endogenous levels of TBC1D1 only when phosphorylated at Ser237.
Target Information
The product of this gene is a microtubule-associated protein predominantly expressed in epithelial cells. Microtubule-associated proteins are involved in microtubule dynamics, essential for cell polarization and differentiation. This protein stabilizes microtubules and modulates their functions. Studies of the related mouse protein suggest an essential role in microtubule function required for spermatogenesis.
