The Mouse anti-Human CD45 Monoclonal Antibody (HI30) recognizes the CD45 antigen, which is expressed on all cells of hematopoietic origin except platelets and red blood cells and their immediate precursors. CD45 is considered a pan-leukocyte marker.
For this Pacific Blue™ conjugate: Excitation/Peak Emission (nm) = 405/455.
Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising about 10% of surface proteins in lymphocytes. It is absent on non-hematopoietic tissues and cell lines.
CD45 plays a crucial role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and cytokine receptor signaling. It also contributes to cell survival, integrin-mediated signal transduction, and modulation of immunological functions.
Multiple isoforms of CD45 exist due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions.
