Target Information
ERp57은 소포체 내에서 lectin chaperone인 calreticulin 및 calnexin과 상호작용하여 새로 합성된 당단백질의 접힘을 조절하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 과거에는 인산화효소로 알려졌으나, 실제로는 단백질 디설파이드 이성화 효소 활성을 가지고 있음이 밝혀졌습니다. 이 단백질과 lectin 복합체는 당단백질 기질 내 디설파이드 결합 형성을 촉진하여 단백질 접힘을 매개하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
