CD25 (IL-2 receptor alpha chain, IL2RA)는 T 및 B 림프구의 증식에 관여하는 사이토카인 수용체의 구성 요소입니다.
IL2RA, IL2RB, IL2RG로 구성된 고친화성 IL-2 수용체 복합체를 형성하며, 이 중 IL2RA 단독 이합체는 저친화성, IL2RB 단독 이합체는 중간친화성 수용체를 형성합니다.
IL-2는 주로 성숙한 T 세포에서 발현되며, B 세포 증식 촉진, NK 세포 활성 증가, 과립구-대식세포 집락 형성 억제 등의 역할을 합니다.
마우스 모델에서 유사 유전자의 결손은 궤양성 대장염 유사 질환을 유발하여 항원 자극에 대한 면역 반응 조절에 중요한 역할을 함을 시사합니다.
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 interleukin 2 receptor alpha deficiency와 관련이 있습니다.
