CD25 (IL-2 receptor alpha chain, IL2RA)는 T세포와 B세포의 증식에 관여하는 사이토카인 수용체의 구성 요소입니다.
IL2RA, IL2RB, IL2RG로 구성된 고친화성 IL-2 수용체 복합체의 일부이며, IL-2 신호전달을 통해 면역세포의 성장, 분화, 세포사 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
IL-2는 주로 성숙한 T세포에서 발현되며, B세포 증식 촉진, NK세포 활성 증가, 과립구-대식세포 집락 형성 억제 등의 기능을 수행합니다.
이 유전자의 결손은 면역 반응 이상 및 염증성 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
