Mouse anti-Pig CD45, clone K252.1E4 recognizes an epitope common to all porcine CD45 isoforms (Schnitzlein et al. 1998).
Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising about 10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It is absent in non-hematopoietic tissues and cell lines.
CD45 glycoprotein plays a critical role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and JAK kinases.
It exists in multiple isoforms due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions.
CD45 is essential for T- and B-cell receptor signaling, cytokine signaling regulation, and integrin-mediated survival pathways. It also influences apoptosis and various immune functions.
