Probe is labeled with 6FAM™ dye - MGB and primers are not limited. Suitable for singleplex PCR reactions.
Designed for use with Inventoried and Non-Inventoried TaqMan™ Gene Expression Assays, Custom TaqMan™ Gene Expression Assays, and/or Custom TaqMan™ Primers and Probes.

Simple to Use

All components are QC tested and formulated into a single 20X mix, fully compatible with universal conditions for two-step RT-PCR.
Use with TaqMan™ Universal PCR Master Mix (with or without AmpErase™ UNG) and cDNA samples to generate sensitive, reproducible quantitative gene expression data.

Each endogenous control uses proven 5′ nuclease chemistry. Available configurations:

• FAM™ dye-labeled TaqMan™ MGB probe (250 nM) with two unlabeled primers (900 nM each)
• VIC™ dye-labeled TaqMan™ MGB probe (250 nM) with two unlabeled primers (150 nM each, primer limited)
• VIC™ dye-labeled TAMRA™ probe (250 nM) with two unlabeled primers (150 nM each, primer limited)

Choosing the Right Endogenous Control

Endogenous controls normalize expression levels by correcting for cDNA loading differences.
For best results:

• Verify consistent expression across samples.
• Ensure control gene is more abundantly expressed than target gene for multiplexing.

Multiplex vs. Singleplex PCR

• VIC™ reporter dye-labeled controls are primer limited and suitable for multiplexing.
• FAM™ reporter dye-labeled controls are non-primer limited and intended for singleplex reactions.
