Antibody detects endogenous levels of EPS15 only when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 849.
Target Information
EPS15 is a ubiquitously expressed protein involved in cell growth regulation and may play a role in mitogenic signaling and cell proliferation control. Phosphorylation at Tyrosine 849 upon DNA damage is linked to EGFR internalization. Chromosomal aberrations involving EPS15 are associated with acute leukemias, resulting in abnormal activator protein formation.
