Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The POLR2D gene encodes the fourth largest subunit of RNA polymerase II, which synthesizes messenger RNA in eukaryotes. In yeast, this subunit is associated with the polymerase under suboptimal growth conditions and may play a stress-protective role. A ribosomal pseudogene sequence is contained within the 3′ untranslated region of the transcript.
