Product Specific Information

PA1-9567 detects C3 alpha complement in mouse samples and may cross-react with C3a from other mammalian species.
It has been successfully used in Immunoblot and ELISA procedures.
PA1-9567 binds to a strong band at approximately 9 kDa (C3a), two weaker bands at ~115 kDa (C3 alpha) and 25–36 kDa (unknown or partial C3 cleavage).
Immunogen: Mouse C3 complement protein aa 678–692, part of C3a.
Store at 4°C for 1–2 weeks, and -20°C for long-term storage.

Target Information

Complement component C3 plays a central role in the activation of the complement system.
Its activation is required for both classical and alternative complement activation pathways.
Individuals with C3 deficiency are susceptible to bacterial infection.
